BILLS APPROVED ON RATIFYING CREDIT AND FINANCIAL

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ A plenary meeting of parliamentary session held on Friday tackled some matters on credit and finance.

80 per cent of MPs approved draft laws on ratifying a Mongolia-Germany intergovernmental agreement on the financial cooperation, a credit and project agreement for the Energy Efficiency-2 project, and a collateral additional credit agreement for a project of developing the regional transportation infrastructure with an aim to improve the food supply of Ulaanbaatar city, which were established between the government of Mongolia and the Deutsche Bank for Reconstruction and Credit.


The State Great Khural adopted bills on ratifying a financial agreement established between the government of Mongolia and France with votes of 77.8 per cent and a financial cooperation agreement between the governments of Mongolia and Austria with votes of 72.2 per cent. Parliament also approved draft laws on ratifying a financial agreement for the "Fresh Air of UB city" project established between the government of Mongolia and the International Development Association (IDA), a credit agreement for the 2nd phase of a program on supporting social sector between the government of Mongolia and the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), and an agreement between the government of Mongolia and the Export-Import Bank of India.
